Ceva attaches great importance to the protection of the personal information of minors.

If we become aware that personal information of minors under the age of 18 has been collected without prior parental consent, we will immediately destroy such data.

  1. WHO DO WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION WITH?

As your personal information is confidential, only persons duly authorised by Ceva by virtue of their functions may access your personal information.  The internal recipients of personal information are, in particular, the departments in charge of invoice management, marketing, customer relations, complaints and the IT department.

Ceva takes all appropriate organisational and technical measures to preserve the security, integrity and confidentiality of your personal information.

We do not sell personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

Your personal information may be passed on to companies belonging to the Ceva Group,  located in the European Union.

Our authorised service providers may also process your personal information as strictly necessary for the performance of the services we entrust to them: these include service providers in charge of customer relationship management, logistics, management of loyalty programmes, payment management, sending e-mails for marketing purposes, data storage, etc.

In certain circumstances, we may transfer your personal information outside Australia to recipients in countries which do not benefit from data protection laws similar to those in Australia. In this case, we will secure the transfer and processing with an appropriate legal framework to ensure a high level of data protection, regardless of where your information is processed. In accordance with the applicable law, in the event of a breach of personal information that is likely to result in serious harm to the persons concerned, Ceva will notify the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner and the affected individuals.

Without prejudice to the foregoing, it is your responsibility to exercise caution to prevent unauthorised access to your personal information and to your terminals (computer, smartphone, tablet, etc.), in particular by choosing a strong password.

Ceva takes reasonable steps to ensure that the personal information it collects, uses or discloses is accurate, complete and up-to-date. You can help us to do this by letting us know if you notice errors or discrepancies in the information we hold about you and letting us know if your personal details change.

You are entitled to access and correct your personal information that Ceva holds on request. To request access to and/or correction of your personal information, please contact Ceva’s Privacy Officer using the contact details set out below. After receiving a request from you, Ceva will take reasonable steps to correct the information. Alternatively, you may be able to update your contact information, for example, by logging into your account.

You will not be charged for making an access and/or correction request but you may be charged for the reasonable time and expense incurred in compiling information in response to your access request.

Ceva may decline your access and/or correction request in certain circumstances in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles. If your request is refused, you will be provided with a reason for our decision and, in the case of a request for correction, Ceva will include a statement with your personal information about the requested correction if you ask us to do so.
